A plate of meat to share, lamb, chicken, salmon, beef and be careful if they give you little bowls of what looks like a yogurt sauce, it is SPICY but delicious. This was the best thing we had, delicious. A huge bowl of what I'd call a biryani, rice with spices and a bit of veg in it. We also got hummus and olives with the bread. Really delicious, though I'm not sure how Somalian this is. First we got a sliced baguette with oil and balsamic reduction. No menus, so we asked for a selection of meat, some rice and a vegetable biryani for my vegetarian friend. Staff were friendly and tried their best to explain to us, about the food etc.

There was a television on the wall playing the news in a foreign language. I finally got around to giving it a go and very glad I did.

That can change to your taste however as each dish comes with a small cup of bizbap dipping sauce on the side. If you are not into spicy food don't worry as the food is mild to medium. And they make fresh mango juice which is outstanding. The chicken suqaar is also full of flavor and not too spicy. They are samosas by another name and filled with potatoes, peas and other vegetables. The sambusas are perfect for a vegetarian. Mona, one of the owners, has a smile as sweet as the honey on the dessert I had and happily answered and questions I had when she brought dishes to the table. The staff are all warm and welcoming and seem pleased that everyone wants. They put most of their effort into the delicious foods. The atmosphere is pleasant enough but nothing fancy.
